Slalom ruled out for rest of season by Andre Fabre

Slalom, a second to Japan in the Grand Prix de Paris, has been ruled out for the remainder of the season.
Andre Fabre had been planning on carrying the three-year-old back to ParisLongchamp to get a crack at Enable from the Prix de Triomphe.
Given Japan has subsequently beaten at Crystal Ocean in the Juddmonte International at York he’d have been worth his place at the line-up.
But he is currently on the sidelines.
Fabre stated: »Slalom has experienced a setback, unfortunately.
« Regrettably he will be out for the remainder of the season. It’s a pity, I was expecting some big races from him. »
No final decision has been created over whether the unbeaten Earthlight will have his final start of the year in Britain.
After his success in a strong renewal of the Prix Morny at Deauville, Fabre intimated he would love to run at the Darley Dewhurst Stakes at Newmarket next month, sponsored Sheikh Mohammed, by his owner.
« We haven’t fully decided yet, we are waiting to find out what happens with a few others, » said Fabre.
